Improve the look of your garage floor tile installation with ride ramp sections

Installing Vented interlocking tiles is a quick and straightforward process that can typically be completed by the customer. Follow these simple steps for a seamless installation:

  1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure the subfloor is clean and free from dirt, grease, or debris for a smooth installation.
  2. Mark Your Starting Point: Snap a chalk line 40cm (400mm) from one wall, then another 40cm from an adjacent wall. These lines should intersect at a 90-degree angle, serving as a guide for laying the tiles.
  3. Lay the Tiles: Begin placing the interlocking tiles along the chalk lines, snapping them securely into place as you go.
  4. Finish the Main Area: Continue installing the tiles, leaving the perimeter open until all full tiles are in place.
  5. Cut to Fit: Once the main area is covered, cut the remaining tiles to fit along the walls. No expansion gap is needed, as Vented tiles do not expand or contract with temperature changes.
  6. Cutting Methods: The easiest cutting method is with a guillotine, but if unavailable, alternatives such as rotary disc cutters, circular saws, jigsaws (with a fine blade for timber), or band saws can also be used.

By following these steps, you’ll achieve a professional, long-lasting installation with minimal effort.

Vented interlocking floor tiles are designed for effortless upkeep, ensuring a clean and well-maintained surface with minimal effort. To keep them in top condition, follow these simple cleaning steps:

  • Vacuuming: Regularly remove dust and debris from the tile vents to maintain a tidy surface.
  • Mopping: Occasionally mop with warm water and a mild soap solution. A sponge mop is ideal for reaching between the vents, ensuring a thorough clean.
  • Jet Washing: If your floor features drainage channels, simply jet wash the tiles and let the water drain away. Any remaining moisture will naturally evaporate, or for faster drying, you can lift sections of the tiles if needed.

With these easy maintenance steps, your Vented XL tiles will stay durable, clean, and looking their best for years to come.
